LAPEL DAY CELEBRATED FOR BDS 2023

OBJECTIVE: Clinico-initiation day (White Coat Ceremony) is an important day after which the student embarks on the journey to become not just a clinician but also a compassionate doctor. It also symbolizes professionalism, caring and trust, which they must earn from their patients.

ACTIVITIES: Clinico-initiation day (White Coat Ceremony) for BDS 2023 Batch was organized in Subharti Dental College and Hospital on 27th Jan, 2026. It is an important day after which the student embarks on the journey to become not just a clinician but also a compassionate doctor. This important ceremony was conducted under the guidance of our Principal & Dean, Dr. Nikhil Srivastava. The Program was graced by the presence of Dr Mahesh Verma, Padma Shri and B. C. Roy awardee, Vice Chancellor Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He blessed and motivated the students with his encouraging words. During the ceremony, the White coat and Lapel Pins were conferred on the students. Dr Krishnamurty, Executive Officer SVSU made the students take an Oath to treat all the patients with sincerity, dedication & compassion. Dr Nikhil Srivastava, Principal SDC bestowed academic awards for securing honors in various BDS Professional examinations to Students. Parents of the student awardees were also honored along with their wards. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Dr Mahesh Kumar Mittal, Principal SMC.
