World Health Day was celebrated in Subharti Dental College & Hospital

World Health Day was celebrated in Subharti Dental College & Hospital on 7th April, 2016 with the aim of creating global health awareness about rise in communicable and non communicable diseases.
The day was inaugurated by Principal & Dean Dr. Nikhil Srivastava followed by lamp lighting.
On this day, Free Hepatitis – B vaccination was provided to Non-Teaching Staff, Faculty members & students.
A health talk was delivered by Dr. Nikhil Srivastava on harmful effects of Hepatitis-B diseases and about the vaccination regime of Hepatitis-B.
A total of 146 vaccinations were administered by Dr. Ashish Prakash and Dr. Daksh from Dept of Pediatrics, Subharti Medical College & Hospital.
Other dignitaries present at the occasion were Dr. Vijay Wadhawan, Dr. Vineeta Nikhil, Dr. Pradeep Raghav, Dr. SP Singh, Dr. Vishal Bansal, Dr. Vivek Rana, Dr. Ravi Prakash and Dr Anamika Sharma.

The event was organized by Department of Public Health Dentistry under the leadership of Dr. Mayur Kaushik, Dr. Meetika Pahuja, Dr Sanchit Pradhan, Dr. Syed Mohd. Akif and Dr. Nimit.
