Department’s Mission
“The department provides both primary and comprehensive, preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs.”
About The Department
“The department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry is situated in the first floor of Subharti Dental College on the right side. The department was established in 1996 and it blossomed with the commencement of first postgraduate admission in the year 2004. There are three postgraduate seats per year and the department is DCI and GOI recognized. ”
Salient Features of The Department
“The department works on the motto that “every child has a fundamental right to his oral health & we in the department are committed to fulfill this faith”
We provide holistic oro-dental care to children & Teenagers using modern technologies & equipment. To name a few: Rotary Endodontics, Digital Radiography, Electocautary, Mini-implant, Myofunctional & Semi fixed Orthodontics therapy, Full mouth rehabilitation under General anaesthesia, Conscious sedation etc.”
