Introduction:
Gingival recession is the most common cause of sensitivity seen in patients. These sites are indicative for recession coverage procedures. It is multifactorial disease with various techniques available in the literature for its treatment. However, elimination of every etiology is must for successful results. Subepithelial Connective tissue graft (SCTG) has been considered the gold standard for the treatment of gingival recession.
Chief complain- A 28-year female patient reported to the Department of Periodontology, Subharti Dental College & Hospital, Meerut with the chief complain of sensitivity and unesthetic appearance in the upper front tooth region since 3 months.
Intraoral examination - Miller’s Class I recession was present maxillary left canine.

The recession was treated with connective tissue graft procured from the palate of the patient, followed by placement in the pouch that was prepared at the recipient site. The SCTG was sutured at the recipient site. Post-operative instructions and medications were given to the patient and patient was recalled after 10 days for suture removal. Then, 1 month for follow-up.
