Orientation Day of BDS 2017

An orientation programme was held on 11th of September 2017 to welcome the new batch of BDS 2017 in Subharti Dental College and saw various dignitaries welcoming the freshers. The orientation ceremony was attended by the new students and their parents.

The dignitaries that graced the function were Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar, Founder, Subharti Institutions, Dr. D. C. Saxena, Pro Vice-Chancellor, SVSU and Dr. Nikhil Srivastava, Principal Subharti Dental College and Hospital.
Welcoming the students, Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar highlighted the importance of value-based education that was being provided by the university. Mam impressed upon them to maintain a high degree of discipline and decorum for a fruitful learning experience.

Dr. D. C. Saxena, Pro Vice-Chancellor, SVSU welcomed the students and their parents to Subharti family. He emphasized on discipline and sincerity during their stay in Subharti.

Dr. Nikhil Srivastava, Principal Subharti Dental College and Hospital, gave a brief history of the institution and a description of the BDS course and extra-curricular activities the college offered and encouraged the students to be active during their term at the institute.

The student volunteers not only managed the help desks, but also helped organize the entire proceedings. The students were assisting in crowd control, backstage activities and hospitality as well. Three alumni organization help desks were set up at the venue of the program. The parents and the new entrants were offered the Hostel Rules book which gave basic information about hostel rules and regulations. 

Freshers, mostly accompanied by parents, got their first glimpse of college life and got a chance to interact with their new teachers and classmates.
